Description
This wine is made from Golden Amrita’s Greenock vineyard. A number of different parcels were harvested and fermented individually, then gently basket pressed to predominately new American oak barrels. Following 2 years maturation in barrel a final barrel selection of only the best barrels was made to produce this single vineyard wine. This wine is a true reflection of this special vineyard site to produce classic, richly flavoured Barossa Valley Shiraz.
Tasting Notes
A classic, big, rich ripe Barossa Shiraz showing loads of dark fruit, vanilla spice, complex earthy notes and dark liquorice characters. With bottle age the oak has settled in to the wine giving it a classic sweet vanilla and cedar spice in a richly framed, complex wine.
